Lord Aptel Mittens
A half-elf of 92 years of age, Lord Aptel Mittens is world renowned for his lineage alone. The masses think of him to be little more than a high-class man barking orders to expand the wealth and influence of his family, a man unwilling to work hard himself when he could just as easily command another to do it for him. Lord Mittens’ largely embraces the negative perceptions of his arrogance and entitlement, going so far as to hide most of his adventuring accolades and benevolent deeds. Lord Aptel Mittens is an odd man, truly understood by no one. Perhaps his particularly blend of attitude and aptitudes led to success in the Tournament of the Apex Adventurer when it was still an extremely deadly event.

A high elf of Faerun reigns over her people of the west coast with kind words, creative solutions, and empathy. Despite her kind demeanor towards her people, she would do anything to protect them from harm and danger. She was raised knowing that one day she would represent her people in the Apex Adventurer challenge. As such, her people regard her as a hero and hold high expectations of victory. Each member of her community has played a role in teaching her necessary skills. Her entire existence has been leading up to this. Success is her only option. Failure of any kind would bring dishonor to herself, her family, and all of her people.
Colven Steveber’
Voted Out 1st (Day 2) – Status: Out of the Tournament
Really? Colven Steveber’. Thee Colven Steveber’ is competing in the Tournament for the Apex Adventurer? Yes, yes he is. The world-famous Bard, known for his wit, quick retorts and ability to make anyone laugh was among the first to sign up for the opportunity. At 42 years of age, this human bard is in his prime and believes he has what it will take to win it all.
Din Viesel
Voted Out 2nd (Day 4) – Status: Out of the Tournament
An instant fan favorite, 83 years of age Rock Gnome Din Viesel brings his particular blend of physical strength and charm to the tournament. Din’s decades of experience as a fighter will make him a force to keep an eye on and no one’s first option to face off against in the Arena of Champions. As a major threat to win the tournament, fans are hopeful he can find the help he needs through Godsends and Contest Victories to win it all.
Vikky Voluptua
Vikky Voluptua originates from the enchanting Isle of Euphoria, a realm renowned for its vibrant festivals and enchanting traditions. Born into a family of performers, Vikky was destined to be a seductress of the stage from a young age. Raised in a circus-like atmosphere, she honed her skills in dance, acrobatics, and the art of captivating an audience. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Vikky yearned for an adventure that would ignite her senses. Eager to explore uncharted territories, she ventured into the wilds, using her acting skills not only to entertain but also to survive. With her ability to assume different identities, she could adapt to any situation, slipping through the cracks of danger and intrigue. Throughout her odyssey, she encountered mystical creatures, encountered perilous terrains, and unraveled ancient secrets, all while employing her bewitching charms to navigate treacherous situations.
Ikswobel
Voted Out 7th (Day 14) – Defeated in Arena of Champions – Status: Council of Judgment
Born into darkness and raised by practitioners of the dark arts – Ikswobel was initially drawn to a life of destruction. He is highly skilled at destroying, burning and straight up annihilating. He changed his ways when he met his perfect match. Little did he know he was in store for more pain at first. As they were torn apart, he first fell in seclusion and slowly pulled himself back together. Now, having withstood so many tests, he is ready to spread some good vibes, man!
Jayne “The Stone” Dwonson
Voted Out 5th (Day 10) – Status: Council of Judgment
Can you seeeeeeeeeeeee what The Stone is cooking? Chef Dwonson, a Red Dragonborn of 175 years of age, is an elite chef. As head chef of “Firewater Sear” at the heart of Mirabar, Chef Dwonson is no stranger to operating under pressure or leading a team. She earned the nickname “The Stone” at the Mirabar Mage’s Guild as a comment on both her reliability and strong headedness. Skilled with the blade and the arcane arts, Jayne brings a unique mix of talents to the game.
Barry Cade
Voted Out 3rd (Day 6) – Status: Out of the Tournament
An early career battlemaster who recently found himself needing to balance his adventuring career with parenting his recently born child. Barry’s wife, named Cass, occasionally send’s their baby to Barry for his turn to look after him. Only time will tell how the cascading ramifications of his spontaneous need to split his focus while adventuring will impact his attempt to claim the title of Apex Adventurer.
Dr. Bash
Voted Out 4th (Day 8) – Status: Out of the Tournament
A burly, mild-mannered Dragonborn dentist from a mountain village. Dr. Bash heard stories about the Apex Adventurer Tournament for many years. His patients would relay the stories between gargles, and travelers from afar would recount the thrills and triumphs of the tournament. With his desire for glory stirred, he seeks adventure and a new challenge for his intellect. He hopes that he will floss his competitors and firmly brush off any threats to his chance at filling the trophy-sized cavity in his heart by winning the Title.
HOBO
Voted Out 6th (Day 12) – Status: Out of the Tournament
HOBO grew up of means and his natural talent for the musical arts was nurtured at a young age. He fell in love with a beautiful elven woman, Lafyr, who captured his heart with astute attention to his musical talent and enraging indifference to his fame. Years of marital bliss was soon torn asunder by treachery, when HOBO’s wife stole his fortune and disappeared. Eventually, HOBO made peace with his lost love, caring not for the loss of his fortune but for the thought of never knowing what truly happened. It was during this time that the H.O.B.O. foundation was formed, where HOBO operated with his talents to become one of the top information brokers on the planet. Building his network of spies and communication strategies was a simple matter, wielding the power of knowledge was another lesson entirely. He now has chosen to answer the call of challenge known as the Tournament of the Apex Adventurer.
Ajax Stormcrow
A peaceful hermit turned private detective; Ajax brings a unique blend of proficiencies to the Tournament. An unexpected and devasting fire devastated the forest he called home for decades, prompting Ajax to seek out the truth – to identify the root cause. He seldom carries more than a sturdy shield, trusty quarterstaff and his arcane magnifying glass. Will he claim the sought-after title of the Apex Adventurer? Or will his focus remain on uncovering information about what led to the destruction of his home?
Ixora Vale
Voted Out 8th (Day 16) – Status: Council of Judgment
A dental hygienist from the suburbs of Mirabar, Ixora has come to play for the adventure! The glory! The 10,000 platinum! And if the prize also comes with her name on a little plaque? She has that covered too 😉 Cleaning teeth of all shapes and sizes requires quick hands, fast reflexes, and a winning personality to put her patients at ease. Ix is as sweet as her namesake nectar, but watch out! Or she might give you a cavity as she puts her skills to the test to become the first Apex Adventurer!
Austin Bob
Tattoos, gold chain, plays guitar, likes to wear his hat to represent the city of Austin. That’s it.
